Book Title: A Powerful Toolkit for Advanced Substack Newsletter Mastery: How to Scale Your Newsletters and Reach Thousands for a Successful Writing Business
Dear Subscribers, Happy Weekend!
Last week, I announced my upcoming book titled Preface: A Powerful Toolkit for Advanced Substack Newsletter Mastery, which will be published on 30 November 2024. Unlike my previous Substack Mastery book, I decided to choose beta readers for this advanced version only from interested and committed readers willing to read, learn from it, and provide feedback.
Besides, these advanced topics might be confusing or overwhelming for beginners who need to understand the fundamentals first. The chapters of the previous book are still available to the public to learn about the fundamentals. It was my giveback to the writing community.
Another key point not to make the new manuscript publicly available is that when I shared the previous one publicly on multiple platforms, only around 5% of readers provided feedback, and the remaining 95 consumed the book without adding value to its refinement.
I had no hard feelings about it. It was a great experiment for me. It satisfied me with the results as my aim was to inspire as many writers as possible to get started with Substack quickly and start building and maintaining their audience. The good news is that the book inspired hundreds of people to get started and achieve their goals in such a short time.
Last week, I emailed around 30,000 mail subscribers to understand their interests, and around 7% of them showed active interest in being beta readers and committed to providing feedback. Although the percentage is low, I appreciate it because my focus is on quality rather than quantity.
With this inspiration, this weekend, I am excited to release the first chapter as a summary and interactive audio to highlight the importance of leadership, which is a critical success factor for advanced Substack writers.
