Welcome to the first syndicated version of our newsletter. 

I sent this version only to a small selected group to test scalability. Please leave a comment when you receive it successfully. Today is special for ILLUMINATION because we achieved our 7th milestone. Congratulations to all contributors like you.

I am delighted by your subscription and participation to become a member of our growing writers and readers community. I value the contributions of our creative writers and the support of our discerning readers. 

My ultimate goal is to create visibility for our writers and delight our readers. I want all our writers to achieve their writing and income goals. I want to provide more options for our readers. 

The purpose of this newsletter is to inform our progress to writers and readers. This newsletter is a syndicated source bringing all subscribers and sharing our content in a meaningful way. Substack is our new distribution platform. It is s free service to our subscribers. You can unsubscribe anytime if our value does not resonate with you.

ILLUMINATION is an active publication currently hosted on Medium. The publication adheres to Medium rules and policies to give a pleasant reading experience to Medium members. 

Contributed by 8,000+ writers, this publication is followed by 70,000+ readers on Medium and 80,000 subscribers from external sources. Many external readers upgrade their membership to $5 a month to read more from our publication and many other significant publications on Medium. 

I established ILLUMINATION on 20 March 2020 on Medium. Within the last ten months, the publication grew rapidly and became a significant platform giving voice to thousands of writers at all levels. I use a pragmatic and methodical approach to support my publication. I see writers and readers as my customers and strive to delight them.

Content published on 100+ topics attracted readers' attention and made the publication among the top 70 publications out of 15,199 publications on Medium, according to toppub.xyz. 

Value for Writers and Readers

ILLUMINATION adds substantial value to both writers and readers. 

Writers can publish their material meeting Medium guidelines with no fear of rejections. Diversity and inclusiveness are the core values of this publication. 

As an open community, we support beginners, intermediate, experienced, and eminent writers. Writers have a clear path to improve their writing skills and showcase their progress in multiple associated publications. 

Some writers gained enormous visibility in our publications. Their stories went viral. They earned substantial income from viral stories. However, some writers still struggle to earn considerable income. 

My aim is to increase the chance of earning by giving them an active platform to showcase. I shared my experience and realistic thoughts about earning good money on Medium. Please see How To Make Six-Figure Income On Medium.

Readers love this publication because they find content from almost all topics allowed on Medium platform. I host stories of hundreds of top writers experienced in multiple disciplines and domains. 

Since it received excellent support from writers and readers, ILLUMINATION also created additional publications to meet writers and readers' needs. The special collection hosting curated and outstanding articles is called ILLUMINATION-Curated. Since its foundation in July, this unique publication has already gained 22, 000 followers. These followers are discerning readers. 

I redesigned the ILLUMINATION front page to create better visibility for our stories. I removed all publication related stories to a placeholder publication called ILLUMINATION Blog for easy access. 

Purpose of ILLUMINATION' S MIRROR

To scale-out and meet the demands from prolific writers, we established a mirror version of this publication. It is called ILLUMINATION' S MIRROR. The purpose of this publication is to give more publishing opportunities to our prolific writers.

Purpose of Technology Hits

ILLUMINATION amplifies submissions from seven large domains. They are business, science, philosophy, self-improvement, technology, fiction, and poetry. As technology domain received significant interest from readers, we established a new publication called Technology Hits. This publication hosts stories of writers with technology flavour. 

Purpose of SYNERGY

Upon requests from thousands of writers, we created a news publication called SYNERGY. This special publication is designed to bring freelance writers and bloggers under an umbrella. The purpose is to empower freelance writers and bloggers. By uniting and giving them collaboration opportunities, we aim to create synergy. 

Distribution Focus

My aim is to create visibility and readability of content contributed to our writers. By doing so, I also aim to give multiple reading options to our valued readers. My first milestone is to increase the visibility of our stories 10% in February 2020. I will set achievable and measurable goals for each month.

I developed an active distribution list to create visibility for the content of writers. We will be using a storybook format to compile stories of our writers. This format will help me to blog the storybooks easily and email them efficiently. This agile approach will enable our content to reach out to a broader audience quickly. 

ILLUMINATION distribution lists, hosted in blogs and multiple other sites will be syndicated on Subtack and freely distributed to subscribers. Subscription to ILLUMINATION newsletter is free. You can unsubscribe anytime. 

Collaboration and Synergy

To support our writers, ILLUMINATION created a virtual workspace using Slack. Currently, 6,149 members actively collaborate. Participation in this workspace is via an invitation from myself. 

To be eligible for the invitation, writers apply to contribute to ILLUMINATION and my other publications on Medium. Hosting content on our publications is a free service. 

Our Slack is also a free community service. I cover the running cost myself as a giveback to the community.
