Sorry to read about your challenges, Dr Yildiz. I understand your pain as it happened to me three times and it was awful. But now they changed their tactics making it harder to recognize.

Oh Mehmet I am so sorry this happened to you. I don't quite understand how people can do these sorts of things, but just know that you are appreciated and valued world wide for your generosity of spirit, and that your efforts and hard work will not have been in vain. Courage!

I'm so sorry that this is an issue for you. Medium should be ashamed of themselves. As someone who has created a beautiful publication like Illumination you would think they would care. I will do my best to spread the word about this.

So. damn. frustrating. It's also scary. I remember when my Insta account was hacked. It enraged me and also freaked me out. Sorry to hear that. Sending warmth and hope this goes away soon.

I’m so sorry Dr.Yildiz… it’s so violating. I’ve noticed a lot of unusual activity escalating over the past week. I’ve had to report some explicit harassment and block artificial accounts- also on my email just tonight there’s suspicious issues I’ve had to deal with. It’s the ugly side of anonymity online- empowering bad actors. I hope it gets resolved quickly.

It's one of the most insidious things that bottom feeders do in their desperation to leverage what they have not earned...

I'm sorry to hear that this has happened to you, and I wish that there were better and more effective ways to combat this problem. It's a war of attrition, and with each round the scammers get more and more emboldened when nothing is done to stop them. These brazen acts of deception are disgusting, and taking decisive action on our part is one of the small ways that we can push back.

One person has little impact, but when many of us watch out for each other, the effective is unmistakable.

Frankly, I am tired of these scammers as they cloned my account 7 times now, and one time, they spammed everything and caused my account to be suspended. Medium said my profile fell into the spam folder when I was fighting against spammers. It was so weird.

Unfair, damn it! Wouldn't it be great for the scammers to ID themselves and render an apology? I think they owe that to you. Now, having said that, if they are the spineless amoebas that I think they are you are likely never to hear anything good come from them. Medium not taking any action is inexcusable. I bet if it happened to several of their employees they would take action. It sickens me that they are as unconcerned as they are. Not sure how you fix the pirating of your information. I HATE that this has happened to you. Just wanted to leave my thoughts...If I can do anything to help please let me know. Thanks!

Dear Mehmet, I understand your concerns. However, maybe it's better not to take it personally, because, since society is as it is, these things still happen. On the contrary, just take a look at the welfare you gave to the community. Just read your comments. Finally, there will always be a struggle. This world is materialistic and that is not in line with your worldview. You suffer because you are compassionate, but in the end, everything is and will be ok:)
