Thanks for this insightful chapter, Dr Yildiz. Your strategy and plan inspired me to craft something tailored for my needs. I admire your focus on delighting readers with your unique approach and valuable content.
Hello Dr. Yildiz, I was wondering where you live or where you were brought up. I've been reading much of your material on medium for over 3 years. I resonate well with your thought patterns. I enjoy your hard work.
I would like to read the whole mastery book starting with Chapter One. Where can I get access to it? I'm thinking maybe on your website. And yes, I plan to become a subscriber of yours real soon.
Hi Carol, good to hear from you. I live in Australia but brought up in 16 different countries in Europe due to the profession of my parents. As this book will be published in hybrid mode, mentioned in the preface, I made my portion available on Amazon for preorder in a reasonable cost. The digital edition will be made public on 30 September. Here is the preorder list https://www.amazon.com/Substack-Mastery-Strategist-Motivated-Subscribers-ebook/dp/B0DF2K6VNX/ref=zg_bs_g_154973011_d_sccl_19/133-2508020-7642530?psc=1 In the meantime I give prelease version for free to my beta readers via Medium, Substack, and my website. Thank you so much for your interest and I will explore your newsletter too. It is great to collaborate with like minded people here. You can DM me here when you need help.
I didn't know you lived in Australia Dr Yildiz. I am in Canberra. Where are you specifically. I would love to catch up with you. I am planning to organize a zoom call with Australian and Asia Pacific Substackers. Would you be interested in attending?
Hi Neera, I live in Melbourne. Interestingly I worked one year in Canberra, Federal government. I loved Canberra very much. I'd love to catch up but my time is extremely limited due to a new contract job and running a massive community on Medium and Substack. I'd love to stay in touch via Substack Notes in the meantime and when we get a chance we can do a phone or Zoom call. Great to find you here Neera. So many lovely Aussie friends in my editorial team like Aiden, Dr Broadly, Britni, from Melbourne and Maria Rattray who is indeed from Canberra. Tim Denning also lives in Melbourne.
It's a great chapter. But I feel there is a missing bit - engagement. After writing on three platforms, I have come to the conclusion the biggest factor in growth in all of them is engagement. The more you engage with others, the more comments you leave on other people's posts, the more you grow.
Thanks for writing this important chapter Dr Yildiz, coming from a tech background I know the importance of planning but I struggle with crafting such sophisticated strategy for my writing. With your examples you made it clear for me.

Thank you for your valuable feedback, Aiden.

Yes excellent point. I covered engagement in previous chapters with a huge highlight. I even wrote an article about it on Medium showing it the critical success factor. Here is the link if you missed it before https://medium.com/illumination/why-your-substack-isnt-taking-off-how-medium-might-be-holding-you-back-unintentionally-068778926d2a
Great. I will go through it. Thanks for the link.
Timely chapter, Dr. Mehmet! I'm working on a new strategy and this is an excellent resource for my new endeavors! Peace Michelle Mariscal
Thank you dear Michelle. I look forward to reading your strategy too.
Very informative and much to chew on for someone who wishes to really engage in what Substack can potentially bring you.
Thank you for your inspiring feedback my friend. It means a lot to me.
